Think your brisket is the best?! Join us for the Agriculture and Forestry Day Brisket Cookoff on Saturday, October 6, before the Bulldogs take on UAB at Joe Aillet Stadium. Registration for the event is $100 and will cover the cost of your brisket. All remaining proceeds from the event will go towards funding a scholarship for the School of Agricultural Sciences and Forestry.
Brisket pickup will take place Thursday evening, October 4, at Super 1 Foods in Ruston, LA. All brisket will be judged on dry rub only with no added sauce and must be cooked on site during tailgating on Saturday. The judging will be done by a panel of Ag Day participants, and the winner will receive four suite tickets for a LA Tech football game.
