Step by Step First Time Login

(If you've completed this procedure and created a username and password, you cannot use this procedure again. You need to login or reset your password)

1) To Activate your account, you will need your Constituent ID. You can look up your Constituent ID on-line at: https://www.latechalumni.com/clookup/ If you have received a recent mailing from us, your Constituent ID is usually (but not always) printed above your name.

2) Once you have your Constituent ID, go to www.latechalumni.org/activate.

3) Enter your last name and click Find >> button.

4) Find your name and click the radio button (circle to the left of your name) and then click the “Next” button.

note: if you do not see your name, please contact our office at 1-800-738-7950 or e-mail scott@latechalumni.org (please include when you attended and/or year of graduation, your degree, and your field of study so we can verify your information). NOTE: ONLY your first degree will be listed here. Additional degrees will be on your account record once you've activated the account.

5) Make sure you selected yourself and enter your constituent ID and click Verify.

6) The first part of the next page will display the current information we have on you. Please change any of this information that is incorrect. This information is ONLY seen by the administrators.

7) The second part of this page will ask you to create a username and password. The password has very STRONG requirements, so make sure your password meets all of these requirements. Also be sure to remember the password you create.

8) The last part of this page allows you to select what information you do and do not want displayed on your My Profile page. The My Profile page will display information about you to other members of the web site when they find you in the on-line directory.

To select information you would like to appear on your profile page, click the check box (so a check mark appears) on the row of data that you want displayed. Unchecking a box will “hide” the information from your My Profile page.

9) Click continue. We recommend continuing through the next few screens to verify your information.

You can always return to this section by going to www.latechalumni.org/myaccount.

Important: If you make any changes on a page, be sure to click the <<Back or Next>> button to save the changes made on that page.
