Louisiana Tech’s Alumni Mentoring Network helps students and alumni get connected, ultimately
strengthening ties within the Tech Family. Volunteer alumni mentors offer their insight to Tech students for the
purpose of career exploration and professional development.
ALUMNI MENTOR OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE:
- Mentoring Tech students in career and professional development.
- Providing job/occupational shadowing opportunities.
- Participating in career panel discussions.
- Giving job search advice.
- Providing relocation information for your geographic area.
- Exploring possibilities of sponsoring internships or summer jobs.
- Recruiting graduating seniors.
- Offering advice on the transition from college to the workforce.
