I just graduated. How long can I use my @latech.edu e-mail address?
During Week 7 of each quarter, students who are not currently enrolled at Tech and not signed up for classes in the coming quarter have their Email accounts disabled. Purging of class schedules can put you immediately into the above situation, and your account is disabled (put on hold) that night.
So, when you are no longer enrolled at Tech, you have about 7 weeks to make other arrangements for your your Email and stored data. You can have your Tech email forwarded for one year--see instructions at Forwarding Email Accounts at your Help Desk.
How can I get an alumni e-mail address?
The Alumni Association is currently not offering e-mail addresses.
How can I support LouisianaTech?
Please visit our Giving Opportunities page.
What is University Advancement?
University Advancment is divided into two organizations. The Alumni Association, the University Foundation, and LTAC (Louisiana Tech Athletic Club). The entire division is located at The Marbury Alumni Center.
Mission: The mission of the Division of Advancement is to facilitate support for Louisiana Tech University's goals, objectives, programs, and activities through effective communication with the university's internal and external publics.
Why is only my first degree listed on my account/my profile?
Only your first degree was imported in to our on-line database. You can add your additional degree information (from Tech or any other School) by click on the My Account link, then under the Other Education Information section, add the information. Please be assured we have your additional degree information in our off-line database. We plan to update the on-line database in the future to show additional degrees.
If you want to add the additional information to your My Profile page, then go to your profile, click on Add Content then click on Other Education Information then Save.
We are working on a plan to keep our off-line/on-line databases sync-ed, which will fix this issue.
Note: My Profile is the page that is displayed when people search for you in the online directory.
The first time login procedure says I'm already registered. What do I do?
If you have already registered, you have created a username and password. You just need to log in instead of completing this procedure again. If you forgot your username, click here. You can reset your password by clicking here.
Why is there a first time login procedure? Why can't I just sign up like I do on other web sites?
Unlike most web sites where you sign up and fill in your information, your account already exists for you (assuming you are an Alumnus/e or supporter of Louisiana Tech University). Your constituent id is used to verify yourself. You can look up your constituent id by clicking here. If you are not found, you will be asked to fill out additional information so we can manually look up your record. This procedure is designed to protect our member’s information.
