From the Director of Athletics
Louisiana Tech’s talented and dedicated group of student-athletes, coaches and staff has provided many great milestones for its alumni and fans to be proud of this past season, including numerous academic and athletic achievements. Your participation in the Louisiana Tech Athletic Club is vital for the continued success of your program and allows the athletic department to invest in retaining successful coaches, improving athletic facilities and funding scholarships for student-athletes.
The importance of your role in determining how high the program rises cannot be overstated. In order to meet the challenges ahead, we must increase our base of support in both annual giving through LTAC and in purchasing season tickets. With conference realignment on the horizon and as the success of your program reaches a new competitive level, your investment in the future has never been more important. Continuing to grow LTAC has been and will continue to be critical to the future success of Tech Athletics.
Please take the time to review the LTAC brochure and consider joining the team behind the teams. Your support is the catalyst for making a significant impact in the lives of so many young people who are dedicated to developing pride in our great University and our successful athletic program.

How Will My Donations Be Used?
The goal of LTAC is to provide Tech’s student-athletes with the support necessary to receive a first-class education and to compete at the highest level of intercollegiate athletics. Monies donated to LTAC will be directed for:
- Scholarships
In addition to tuition and books, fully-funded scholarships provide quality on-campus housing and nutritional meals.
- Facility Enhancements
Facilities are instrumental in providing the support for Tech’s student-athletes to succeed in the classroom and in competition. Equally important, facilities are critical assets in recruiting quality talent.
- Coaches’ Salary Supplements
Salary supplements make it possible for Tech to attract quality coaches by matching market value.
- Special Earmarks
Anyone wishing to donate to a specific sport may do so and still receive credit toward an LTAC membership.
Why Should I Donate to LTAC?
Every day needs arise that are met through the generous contributions of LTAC members. Listed below are some reasons that you might have for joining LTAC.

- You are a former student-athlete and want to help improve the opportunities for current student-athletes

2012 Initiatives
110% Club – Will you give the extra effort?
Louisiana Tech’s student-athletes give 110% on a daily basis in everything they do, both in the classroom and in competition. Join them today by giving at least 110% of your 2011 gift. Every LTAC member giving at least 10% more than the previous year’s gift will receive a gift from Tech Athletics.

LTAC – Just Get One
Do you have a friend who’s not a member of LTAC? Now is the time to get them to join! You can not only help the athletics program by getting new members, but you can also help yourself win some fabulous prizes! For every new member you recruit, you will be entered into a drawing to win exciting prizes, including LA Tech apparel or an autographed football, basketball or helmet.

Young Alumni Program
All alumni, friends and fans of Louisiana Tech University Athletics ages 20-29 can be Young Alumni LTAC members. With a $50 minimum contribution, you can purchase up to two (2) football season tickets at half-price and receive a football parking pass. A SAVINGS OF $380!!!

LATech Kids Club
All LA Tech fans that are in the 8th grade or below are eligible to sign up for the LA Tech Kids Club. For the incredibly low price of $40, LA Tech Kids Club members will receive free admission to all regular season sporting events on the Tech campus, an official club T-shirt, a membership card and invitations to exclusive Kids Club events.

of University Advancement. Its mission is to support more than 400
student-athletes and their pursuit of academic and athletic excellence.
Alumni, former athletes, friends and fans can join LTAC and be supporters
of Louisiana Tech Athletics.

LTAC Priority Point System
- What is the LTAC Priority Point System?
A priority point system allows donors to accrue points based on donations
to Louisiana Tech Athletics. Priority points will be used to determine postseason
ticket priority and other purchase options.
- How does it work?
For every $100 you contribute to LTAC, you will receive one (1) point. Points
are awarded each year on a cumulative basis.

How to Support Tech Athletics
- Cash, Check and Credit Card Donations
Donations may be made by check payable to LTAC or by credit card (Visa,
MasterCard, American Express, Discover). You can also make credit card
donations on-line at www.latechsports.com.
- Pledges
You can pledge your donation and set up a convenient payment plan. Gifts
can be made monthly or quarterly, depending on your preference.
- Gifts-In-Kind
Louisiana Tech Athletics also accepts gifts in the form of products that
the athletic department would normally have to purchase throughout the
course of the year. If you are interested in making an in-kind contribution,
please call Adam McGuirt at 318.255.7950.
- Corporate Matching Gifts
Many companies match an employee’s charitable donation to a qualifying
organization. Please contact your company to see if they participate in a
matching gifts program. Your membership level will increase by the amount
that your company matches your gift. (For example, if you give $500 and
your company matches $500, you will be a member at the Champion level.)
- Gifts of Stock and Securities
Stocks, bonds, CDs and other securities may be donated and allow you to
avoid capital gains taxes.
- Other Gift Types
Wills and bequests, planned gifts and insurance policies are all gift options.

- Is my gift tax-deductible?
Your gift to LTAC is tax-deductible as allowed by the IRS. LTAC operates
under the Louisiana Tech University Foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) corporation.
Please consult your tax professional on the amount of your gift that
is tax-deductible.
