The mission of the Louisiana Tech Alumni Association is to increase the level of awareness and support for the university's goals, objectives, programs, and activities through effective communication with the many constituencies of the university.
Who can Join the Alumni Association?
Anyone who wishes to show support for Louisiana Tech can be a member of the Alumni Association. Whether you are an alumnus, parent or friend, if you'd like to be informed about campus activities and have a role in the "Tech Network," the Association offers something for everyone.
Members of the Alumni Association have the opportunity to:

featuring Tech coaches and administrators; and the Happening
, Louisiana Tech’s largest alumni gathering held in Ouachita Parish and featuring a University update by Tech President Dan Reneau, a sneak peek at the upcoming football season by Head Coach Sonny Dykes, and other special guests and speakers. The Alumni Association also hosts tailgates
at each home football game at the Argent Pavilion located on Tailgate Alley next to Joe Aillet Stadium; delicious food is served (usually at no charge) and hundreds of alumni gather — dressed in their Tech red and blue — before each game. Don’t miss the Homecoming Weekend
activities at Louisiana Tech; each year the Alumni Association hosts the Alumni Awards Luncheon
(to recognize the Alumnus of the Year, the Young Alumnus of the Year and the Alumni of the Year from each of the University’s five colleges), a 50-Year Class Reunion, a Golden Society Reunion

top students to Louisiana Tech. The Alumni Association works closely with the Admissions Office and encourages you to refer prospective students.
