Who can Join the Alumni Association?
Anyone who wishes to show support for Louisiana Tech can be a member of the Alumni Association. Whether you are an alumnus, parent or friend, if you'd like to be informed about campus activities and have a role in the "Tech Network," the Association offers something for everyone.

Members of the Alumni Association have the opportunity to:

Network with more than 80,000 alumni, friends and parents — located in every state in the U.S. and in many foreign countries.

Stay connected
by visiting our website at www.LaTechAlumni.org where you can join the Alumni Association online, find alumni news and information about upcoming events, subscribe to our email publications and read online issues of the Louisiana Tech Magazine and the annual Tech Report; update your information to share news about you and keep the alumni and friends database current; and access links to other University and local websites.

Become a friend of (or Like) the Louisiana Tech Alumni Association Facebook page, a way to instantly connect with other friends, keep up with alumni news, and share your thoughts and opinions.

Stay informed by receiving the Louisiana Tech Magazine twice a year.

Enjoy alumni events hosted on campus and in areas from Baton Rouge to Washington, D.C. The Alumni Association hosts crawfish boils; game-watching parties; athletics tours featuring Tech coaches and administrators; and the Happening, Louisiana Tech’s largest alumni gathering held in Ouachita Parish and featuring a University update by Tech President Dan Reneau, a sneak peek at the upcoming football season by Head Coach Sonny Dykes, and other special guests and speakers. The Alumni Association also hosts tailgates at each home football game at the Argent Pavilion located on Tailgate Alley next to Joe Aillet Stadium; delicious food is served (usually at no charge) and hundreds of alumni gather — dressed in their Tech red and blue — before each game. Don’t miss the Homecoming Weekend activities at Louisiana Tech; each year the Alumni Association hosts the Alumni Awards Luncheon (to recognize the Alumnus of the Year, the Young Alumnus of the Year and the Alumni of the Year from each of the University’s five colleges), a 50-Year Class Reunion, a Golden Society Reunion for alumni of 50 years or more, an Open House at the Marbury Alumni Center, and the annual Alumni and Friends Barbecue Tailgate.

Give back by joining today. The Alumni Association provides scholarships each year to children of Tech alumni. Alumni and friends also play a key role in recruiting top students to Louisiana Tech. The Alumni Association works closely with the Admissions Office and encourages you to refer prospective students.

The Alumni Association is part of the Division of University Advancement and is located in the Marbury Alumni Center. Ryan Richard is the director and Barbara Swart is the Administrative Assistant.
